She worked around me taking phone calls to smooth out last minute wedding day details and did an amazing job. I felt beautiful and have received so many compliments on my make up and hair. "Getting my makeup done by Vanessa was an all around great experience! She not only did my makeup but also engaged in conversation and made me feel extremely comfortable while making me look good gorgeous all at the same time! I have darker skin and wasn't sure how it would turn out with matching certain makeup tones but Vanessa showed that she could be trusted with my face. She is not limited to a certain type of face and her skill set is very diverse. I also received so many compliments of how great makeup looked. "Vanessa did both my hair and makeup for my wedding. I am a very picky person and I loved it!!
Makeup: My regular look is minimal, no foundation, blush, etc. which works for day to day, but I wanted to look flawless on my wedding day and Vanessa delivered. The foundation didn't feel heavy, like I had experienced in the past, the blush was subtle and added great color to my face in my pictures. My eyes, lips, etc...everything looked great!! Plus, it all (except the lip color) lasted the full 6 hours of my wedding!
Hair: I made it a bit difficult for her to pull off the whimsical up-do I wanted by not layering my long hair a bit more, but she made it work! I had loose curls all over my scalp like I wanted. I have since been told that my wedding hair inspired other brides who had only see pictures through social media. Being a bridal inspiration never crossed my mind on my wedding day, but it definitely contributed to the satisfaction I'd already had towards my hair and makeup that day.
